There is a National Movement called, "Show Your Hearts for Health Care Workers and First Responders"!
People All Over the U.S. are 'Putting Hearts in their Yards' to Show Support to All who are Giving So Much! Show your Friends and Neighbors that even though we can not see one another as much, We are All In This Together and Support Each Other!!
The COVID-19 has disrupted our lives and is being especially tough on those already suffering... and organizations that help those that are in need of help are not immune (like us and the Lions Club).
The Decatur Central Lions Club is a community service organization. Because of the limitations that we are under, they will not be able to depend on having the 4H Fair this year to fund the projects that they do even though the need will likely be far greater than ever before.
Valley Mills Christian Church has decided to share the Lion Club's "We Are in this Together" sign campaign to help the Lion's effort to replace the income that they will lose from not being able to operate their annual Fair at full capacity, if at all... To make it simple and to encourage people to look towards our Savior in these times, we are promoting the sign with the Tribute line of, "Pray for Our Country and the World"... Because, WE ARE in this TOGETHER!! We, too, do not want you or any of our community to feel like, "You're Alone", during this unusual situation that we find ourselves in.
We encourage you to show your support to the community with one of the Lions Club's "We Are in this Together" yard signs.
The sign is very attractive and sends the message that, even with social distancing, we are still a Community. Lions are asking for a donation of at least $20 for a sign which will include the "Pray for Our Country and the World" Tribute line and delivery to your address. Order several, for your family, friends, or neighbors and we will also deliver them for you as well (as long as they are near or in Decatur Township).
Our sign campaign is just about over. We have a few, "Pray for Our Country and the World", signs left (less than a dozen) and we will end our sales with a Tribute to the Dads of our community with our, Father's Day", signs. We will have only 31 Father's Day signs to sell, so don't wait too long to grab yours.
