Which Business Type is Best For You?
There are pros and cons for both business types… Network Marketing involves direct one on one selling and building a marketing team/organization while Affiliate Marketing does not strictly rely on personal interaction.
Are You A People Person?
Affiliate Marketing can involve direct in-person selling but can also be done simply by running ads on the internet. You post an Ad on Google, Youtube or some other Social media platform and your customer would see the ad and purchase the product.
For people that are not people oriented then affiliate marketing would likely be a better fit. It has been said that Network Marketing is like herding cats.
You must be very outgoing and need to have strong leadership skills or at least be willing to develop them.
Paid on the Efforts of Thousands…
A great advantage of Network Marketing is that as you build your team you will be paid on the efforts they make.
In Affiliate Marketing you get paid only when you make a sale. You are only going to be paid on your efforts whether you have been doing Affiliate marketing a day or 10 years.
Affiliate Marketing Tips to Cashing In
Make sure that you are helping your readers with your affiliate ads. Instead of looking like someone who wants to cash in on a sale using a list to get people to click on affiliate links, try to be detailed with a review and then plugging the link into that. Put in some effort to get them to click on your ads.
The Power of Blogs
Many people overlook the power of the blog. Blogs aren't just for trading recipes anymore. They are an active and vital marketing tool that can reap great rewards for those who use them. By engaging with your potential customers, you can show yourself as a knowledgeable seller who realizes the value of the consumer.
Targeting Your Niche
The best way to use affiliate marketing is to know your audience. You need to ask yourself why people are coming to your site, and what it is they want. Once you know that, you will be more successful because you will be able to give people what they are looking for.
Language People Relate To
Anything you write during a marketing campaign or for your business, in general, should be written in plain, easy-to-understand language. Do not open the thesaurus and look for rarely used words that make you seem a bit too snobbish. This is your Internet business, not a Newspaper. Readers want it simple.
A great Blogging tip with your affiliate marketing ads is to create different pages on your web site that address certain topics. With this special content in place, you can promote an affiliate product that's related to the topic.
This is a great method to promote your affiliate products because it is done in a subtle way and looks natural.
Combine Affiliate Marketing with Network Marketing
If you are planning to build your MLM business on the Internet, then there is no reason you can’t do both Affiliate Marketing and Network Marketing at the same time.
People that are building a Network Marketing business online will need to learn how to use Social Media to generate leads and get sign-ups. So, you can offer tools and training that they need.
Personally, I prefer this last approach because I want my team to build fast, I will recommend certain tools and training to get – or avoid.
Win/Win
Even when people reject my MLM business, it is more than likely they still need to learn how to generate leads on the Internet. Lead generation is not a simple skill and there are a lot of scam software vendors that will gladly take your money and then disappear. You will stand out as someone that they can trust.
People Prefer to Do Business With…
People prefer to do business with people that they know like and trust. Since you have been offering consistently great content on your Blog and recommending tools that really help people get the job done, you are going to find that many of the folks that said “NO” to you about your MLM are going to eventually say “YES”
