Jesus Christ - Liar, Lunatic, Legend, Outlaw or Lord?
“Who do you say that I am?” - Jesus (Matthew 16:15)
The extensive work of John McDowel and others have stated four basic possibilities (out of others).
Was He - is He a Liar, Lunatic, Legend or Lord? Or just a rogue outlaw - as Larry Norman sung about Him?
I do not want to rewrite the extensive writings by Josh McDowell and others on this topic.
I invite you to do your own research and include the blog by James M. Rochford, who deals with the various arguments in a compact accessible way backed by solid references like C.S Lewis and many others. The link is below.

"Who you decide Jesus Christ is must not be an idle intellectual exercise. You cannot put Him on the shelf as a great moral teacher. That is not a valid option. He is either a liar, a lunatic or the Lord. You must make a choice." - Josh McDowell, The New Evidence that Demands A Verdict.
