You may be wondering how I came to be in Life Coaching?

I remember listening to Tony Robbins and was fascinated by his presentations, using NLP strategies,

how powerful and life changing they were and I wondered, how does he do that?

I learnt more about life coaching and took a course in NLP ( Neuro linguistic programming) Life Coaching with

the Coaching Institue in Melbourne in 2009 and my life has never been

the same since, in a good way, because I have learnt a wealth of information about mind, heart and gut connections.

I was blown away by some of the learnings, about being curious, taking on feedback,

not taking it personal and how to present ideas.

 

I had issues with self-belief, not being enough and fears of not fitting in.

My life is a work in progress as I learn how incredible the human mind is and 

How capable it is to adapt and grow, yes it is flexible and it's plasticity is amazing.

This means new neural pathways can be created to overcome all sorts of limiting beliefs.

 

I learnt how the mind works, or not in some cases and how to work with it

to change limiting thinking  and habits to allow people to live better lives,

more in alignment with supportive values and beliefs.

 

I was able to get my life in order and now I work with other people to transform their lives. 

That was ten years ago and since then I have learnt a lot about human behaviour, patterns and stories we tell ourselves.

 

I'm more compassionate and empathetic to others who are really doing the best they can with what they know.

Quite often the things my clients fear or are anxious about do not occur and they are constructs in their minds which can be removed, replaced or changed by changing how we think about them or what we believe them to mean.

It doesn't change the events or the experience, however it does change the meaning we give to them and that's important.

 

My mission now is to make a diffence in people's lives, helping them to come up with strategies to improve their own lives.
