Nick Vujicic's was born with Tetra-Amelia Syndrome. Tetra-Amelia Syndrome is an extremely rare congenital disorder that results in the absence of all four limbs.
His mother refused to hold him or see him when he was born. He was bullied and he was nicknamed 'chicken drumstick'. He struggled with a lot with depression. He lived through the great depression in his early childhood years and even had suicidal thoughts.
Yet, he graduated high school and started university where he studied a Bachelor of Commerce. Through hard work and determination, Nick graduated from Griffith University at the age of twenty-one. He travelled over 69 countries. He became a motivational speaker in churches, hospitals, prisons, staduims, orphanages and many more. He started two companies.He became a famous author and made New York Times Best Seller and had his book translated into 30 languages. He married in 2008. He has 4 children.
