With all the changes in search engine rankings you need to be aware of a few thing to keep up to date on important changes that could effect your business.

On July 1, 2019 Google put into effect an algorithm that has 2 requirements:

• Build your website with 'Mobile-First' technology
• Make sure your website loads in under 3 seconds

Both of these requirements are used to allow websites to show up on page 1 of the Google and other search engines so this is important.
A Responsive website is not going to make it because it is not a 'mobile-first' website!

You need a mobile-first built website in order to rank as high as you can.

Responsive Wordpress/Wix/SquareSpace/etc. websites are not mobile-first and will need to be converted to the mobile-first platform so they can compete with the companies that have already made this change. Also, many of these website builder sites carry heavy loading times for your website.
