INSTRUCTIONS

Sometimes we need spiritual intervention to help us inderstand why certain traits are considered virtues. Apply the scripture references to help you shape your understanding around the specific value.

For Affirmation: John 3:33 "Whoever has accepted it has certified that god is truthful."

For Certitude: Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."

For Commitment: Chronicles 16:9 " You must serve faithfully and wholeheartedly in the fear of the Lord."

For Confidence: Hebrews 10:35 "So do not throw away your confidence; It will be richly rewarded."

For Diligence: 1 Peter 1:8 "Though you have not seen him, you love him; And even though you so not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy."

For Endurance: Romans 15:5 "May the God that gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had."

For Mindfulness: Luke 1:48 "For he has been mindful for the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations shall call me blessed."

For Optimism: Psalm 119:116 "Sustain me, according to your promise, and I will Live; Do not let me hopes be dashed."

For Patience: James 5: 7-8 "Be patient then brothers and sisters, until the Lords coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the spring and autumn rains. You too be patient and stand firm because the Lord's coming is near."

For Resilience: Matthew 7:24-25 " The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against the house.: Yet it did not fall because it had it's foundation on the rock."

For Self-Discipline: Titus 1:8 " Rather, he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined."

For Understanding: Proverbs 19:8 "The one who gets wisdom loves life; The one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper."
