About Us
Hemophilia Outreach of El Paso is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded by Lou Ann Fetters in 1993, a hemophiliac’s mother.
HOEP is recognized as a legal distinction nonprofit and tax-exempt organization. We have incomes by donations from various organizations, corporate sponsors, and fundraising efforts, but it is not accumulating money for the benefit of its owners. The money donated is used for the benefit of their bleeding disorder community. This can mean providing or offering educational opportunities and community services established in their nonprofit laws.
HOEP serves several purposes, providing educational guidance and organized events for individuals with bleeding disorders, hemophilia and von Willebrand in El Paso, Texas and the surrounding area.
Hemophilia Outreach of El Paso es una organización sin fines de lucro 501 (c) (3) fundada por Lou Ann Fetters en 1993, madre de un hemofílico.
HOEP es reconocida como una organización sin fines de lucro y exenta de impuestos con distinción legal. Tenemos ingresos por donaciones de diversas organizaciones, patrocinadores corporativos y esfuerzos de recaudación de fondos, pero no está acumulando dinero en beneficio de sus propietarios. El dinero donado se utiliza en beneficio de su comunidad de trastornos hemorrágicos. THE GROUP FUNCTIONS/LA FUNCION GRUPAL:
We are a group of volunteers who are dedicated to person(s) with Hemophilia, VonWillebrand, and other genetic blood disorders. We work together to offer information and support to indviduals and their families This is made possible by donations from various organizations, corporate sponsors, and fundraising efforts.
Somos un grupo de voluntarios que se dedica a personas con hemofilia, VonWillebrand y otros trastornos sanguíneos genéticos. Trabajamos juntos para ofrecer información y apoyo a las personas y sus familias. Esto es posible gracias a las donaciones de varias organizaciones, patrocinadores corporativos y esfuerzos de recaudación de fondos.
H.O.E.P. MISSION/H.O.E.P MISIÓN:
To offer support to persons and their families who are affected by Hemophilia, VonWillebrands, and other genetic blood disorders. To generate participation so that treatment becomes more effective, there is an improved quality of life and an increased personal and social involvement within the community, by obtaining and sharing information about these blood disorders.
Ofrecer apoyo a las personas y sus familias afectadas por la hemofilia, VonWillebrands y otros trastornos sanguíneos genéticos. Par generar participación para que el tratmaiento se vuelva más efectivo, hay una mejor calidad de vida y una mayor participación personal y social dentro de la comunidad, al obtener y compartir información sobre estos trastornos sanguíneos.

To ensure that each member of our group may equally obtain information, support, education,kindness, respect, and courtesy Accordingly, each new family that joins us will be received with a warm welcome, regardless of economic status, religion, gender, personal beliefs, nationality, or race.

To obtain and make available to our members the most up to date information about hemophilia, VonWillebrand, and other genetic blood Disorders. This includes treatment options, specialty care, health and fitness, and educational activities.

Our Board consists of Volunteer Members with the desire to share their experience and time to help serve those individuals of El Paso, Texas with bleeding disorders. Their dedication, talent, and love are evident in the programs and community outreach events they coordiante to help educate and empower individuals and families in the bleeding disorder community.
