THE DIACONATE

Bergvliet Congregational Church is led by a Minister and a Diaconate of usually 10 members.  The Deacons meet with the Minister monthly to discuss and make decisions about Church business and activities.  When the need arises, they bring certain issues to the Church members at a meeting, usually on a Wednesday evening.  An Annual General Meeting is held towards the end of February each year.
