Members included Harold Melvin, Bernard Williams, Roosevelt Brodie, Jesse Gillis Jr., Franklin Peaker, John Atkins, Teddy Pendergrass, and Lawrence Brown. Despite some trials and tribulations, the group went through, they always seem to put some of the best R&B love songs of all times.

An American soul singer from Philadelphia, PA and born in 1947, Barbara shot to stardom and became well known for this self-written hit song released in 1965.

Born Allen Lamar Wilson in 1939 from Meridian, MS, Al Wilson was an American soul singer best known for this million record selling #1 hit. The song "Show and Tell" was released in 2006.

Rhythm and Blues group from Ferndale, MI and originated in 1954 mesmerized the Soul Music work with hit after hit. The became a must-have in any household music collection with songs such as "Working My Way Back To You," and "The Rubberband Man", but "Could It Be I'm Falling In Love," because of everyone's favorite.

The Chi-Lites - Have You Seen Her

If you never heard of this group, it's probably because you're too young. As part of their name states, they are from Chicago, IL and blasted on the scene in the early 1970s and had eleven top ten smash hits lasting from 1969-1974, which includes this jam, "Have You Seen Her." This group will definitely teach you a thing or two, or three.

The Manhattans - Kiss And Say Goodbye

R&B Vocal & Soul group, The Manhattans, who originated from Jersey City, NJ in 1962 had so many hits their songs were on heavy rotation in radio studios all throughout the US. Lead by vocalist Gerald Alston, this group has a library of hits that included Shining Star, It's Feels So Good To Be Loved So Bad, but if you asked anybody what is their favorite song by The Manhattans, they will shake their heads and say... "Kiss and Say Goodbye." That song will do something good to your soul.
