ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Mine Tour creates a cross-border connection of two cities united by a common mining past. It complements the technical mining heritage in Labin with the natural mining heritage in Litija. In this way, it offers visitors a rich experiential experience above and below ground. By visiting both locations, visitors have the opportunity to experience the underground world of the Sitarjevec mine and get to know the rich cultural, architectural, and industrial heritage of the town of Labin.

Visit MINE TOUR and get to know the mining infrastructure, try the unique culinary offer, discover the historical background and personalities who have significantly shaped the industrial and mining heritage, listen to mining anecdotes, learn about rock formation processes and see rock exhibits, mining tools and equipment and reconstruction of plant and animal species.

All this and more is offered by MINE TOUR, a product that has connected the two locations into a new, unique tourist product, enriched with content that offers a rich and interesting experience.
