We need access to a Gmail inbox in order to claim and monitor the listing. We will also use this email address to log in to the listing after it is claimed.

The process of claiming, correcting and activation of your listings can take up to 90 days. Various listing services have different methods of business verification, once verified the listing will go live. Verified listings some-times deactivate, this is the main reason for purchasing this service. If a listing gets suspended shortly after verification we will work with the listing service to get it back online for you.

Most listings can be reclaimed via phone or postcard verification. The claiming process requires us to send a phone call to the primary business line, so it is necessary to claim the listings with someone who is present at the business location. Sometimes execptions can be make, please speak to your sales rep. if you are unable to proceed with this step.

Sometimes Google will call you to verify your business information. You should be prepared to confirm the name, address, phone number, hours of operation, and website of your business. Sometimes verification instructions will be sent to you via postal mail. In addition, you will need to be present at the business and able to take incoming calls at the primary business number.

Businesses that are listed at an identical address and phone number will be seen as duplicates of each other, and may be removed from Google My Business.

Tracking numbers cannot be listed as a phone number on the listing. The client will need to provide the local phone number for the business.

For service area businesses, most listing sites will still require a real address. Some sites, like Google and Yelp, can suppress the address so it is not viewable online.
